We went to the Ft. Davis bike fest on September 21-22,2002. Had a wonderful time at the Prude Ranch and Ft. Davis area. Three of us from the Marathon, Tx. women's group had a long, hilly, but great ride. We started riding in April of this year and ride at least 4 to 5 days a week. One of our husbands calls us the 200 club because we are all over 50. Riding is new to us but we are looking forward to the ride next year. One of the hills in Ft. Davis has been labeled nightmare hill for us. Peyton Bike Shop had great helpers and all the cooperation from the people in Ft. Davis was great. New Pizza place called Murphy's has delicious pizza and very friendly atmosphere. Marathon, Tx. is a great place to ride bicycle and all here are friendly too.
